No good deed goes undone...

I sat waiting patiently in the class computer lab for it to open so I could finish up a special proctored midterm. Off in the distance I could hear the cries of what seemed to be a helpless young woman.
"Oh my babies!", She cried "I just don't know what to do! They are both so sick and their just raw from the diarrhea!"
She was speaking to another person in the hallway as I sat waiting, at first indifferent, then I took notice to her desperate pleas for help; she officially had my attention. Her voice grew louder and then she walked into the room where I was sitting and we made eye contact.
She looked at me like she knew me for years and cried, "Oh my god! I've had the worst day in my life and I don't know what I'm going to do!" A pencil dropped from her hand along with some other books. I reached down and went to grab a few things of hers and handed them back without a word. She kept talking to me and began to tell me the story of how sick her twin children were. After listening to her cries for 10 minutes she left the room and I was ushered into the computer lab where I completed my last midterm and was quite excited for the upcoming Spring Break...
Three days later I was awoke to an upset stomach that grew worse. I had lost my appetite and the intestinal pain began to grow to the point I couldn't stand it. I lost a few pounds from evacuating so much liquid and after 24 hours of sheer misery my wife rushed me to the Doctor who ran a few office tests and then had me hospitalized for 3 days and 2 nights. Somehow I caught a virus which was presumedly the Norovirus. Oddly enough no one else, including my wife caught it. Worst pain I ever felt in my life and even a week after the event, I still have some effect from it.
My point to all of this? If you hear someone complaining about their loved ones being sick, run - run as fast as you can and get away.
