The Jackalicious Files

A little over a year ago I made the decision to go back to college and attain my degree like I should have a long time ago. While I will not go into detail why I never finished the first go at it, I will say that I am happy that my goal will soon be attained.

Because of school, I haven't kept up the blog as much as usual or posted all the fun stuff I enjoy sharing with my readers. I hope I've kept the majority of you laughing... I have a lot more to share in the near future so keep coming back.

The site, as a lot of you know, began as a tribute to those of us who had the privilege of being born in the early 70s and spending a good portion of our teen years in the 80s. At the time we never had a clue how stereotyped those years would become or how explosive the computer industry would be in the 90s and today. We were the kids who first played the arcade video games, pulled the stickers off and rearranged them on our Rubik's Cube, listened to Heavy Metal and all dreamed of owning that Delorean. Now we are getting older and are quite perplexed where the time went and why everything is so screwed up now. I suppose this site isn't as much about me per se as it is about my generation.

As soon as time allows, I hope to put all my thoughts and stories into a full story to share. While I'm nothing special I do believe I've had a few adventures that might entertain a few out there.
